Our Teachers

Danielle Donato

Hey! I am 34 years old and I have three children. My oldest is 15, my middle is 6, and my youngest is 2 1/2 years old. It’s safe to say that throughout my practice, I *generally* have had a child crawling in the background and on my mat. Who can relate??
I grew up in Tionesta, Pennsylvania, and have been in the Erie area since 2008. I am a hairstylist (15 years now) in the area and have cultivated many relationships throughout my career. My favorite aspect has always been the one-on-one connection I get with each guest I’m very personable. I will, most likely, remember every detail you’ve shared with me.
When I first started practicing yoga I focused on the physical practice and it has transformed into a well-rounded practice. Now, I mostly lean towards restorative yoga, meditation, sacred texts, Mantras, pranayama, and almost anything to pacify Vata (if you know, you know). I am actively training as an Ayurvedic health advisor while also evolving my knowledge in all different styles of Yoga. I offer Vinyasa classes, Hatha classes, and a variety in between. I study with many different teachers, but mainly through the Himalayan Institute.
Studio Sage has been a new experience for me. Before this space my designated spaces were in my kitchen, living room, the woods, my yard, and then some. You can practice yoga anywhere, right? Now my designated area is within the studio… and still in my living room. I embrace all of the obstacles and waves along this journey no matter how subtle or intense. If I’ve met you in the studio - please know our connection has made an everlasting imprint on my heart. I appreciate so many of you.
Sydney Lesseski

Sydney completed her 200hr Yoga Teacher training in March 2024 after having a decade of personal practice. Since completion of her 200hr, she has continued her education to receive 110 hrs of Yin specific training. Similar to many, her practice began solely as a movement practice until she began to uncover the wholistic view of what Yoga is. Yoga has helped Sydney regulate her mental and emotional well-being through many life challenges and she is passionate about people having the opportunity to experience and adapt the practice in a way that is most meaningful to them.
Outside of her teaching, she has a love for animals and has three cats and three dogs at home, and regularly volunteers at Purrista Cat Cafe. You may also find her at a local market selling her handspun yarn or knitted goods, or holding a class to teach others how to create with fiber arts. She is passionate about sharing her skills and interests with those around her and using them to create a positive impact on her community.
Terry Seth

Terry Seth is a E-RYT 500, Experienced Registered Yoga Instructor through Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of yoga teacher training with an approved Registered Yoga School (RYS). She has been practicing yoga since 1993 and began teaching in 2004. She founded the School House Yoga Studio in Erie in 2016 and operated a successful and much loved space for hundreds of yoga students for more than 7 years. Her teacher training was very transformative and has given her the ability to share her enthusiasm for the practice of yoga with hundreds of people of all ages and backgrounds. She received her 200 hour teacher training in Erie through Integral Yoga and Plasha Yoga in 2005. In June 2020 she completed her 300 hour teacher training with Satya Yoga in Erie. Under the guidance of her many skilled, knowledgeable and wise teachers through the years, her teaching has grown and evolved to enhance her own personal and spiritual development. She is passionate about the healing properties of yoga and she offers a natural and practical approach to yoga, accessible for everyone. Because of her years of teaching and running a small yoga studio, she has connected with hundreds of people, organizations, and groups in the community who have been instrumental in her ability to share the principles of mindfulness through effective communication and techniques to create a credible and trusting student-teacher relationship.
Anna Caputo

Outside of teaching yoga Anna is an autism supports coordinator. She has a bachelors in sociology. She loves to cook, read, spend time with family and friends. Anna is an Erie lover! She loves Presque Isle, and all of our local coffee shops and our sunsets.
Anna teach yoga to help others, because it has helped her so much and it is her purpose to share the benefits! She began her journey in 2016 after getting in a car accident that left her with a lot of pain and trauma. Anne uses yoga, meditation and pranayama to manage all of that. It has become a part of her daily routine.
Halle Sullivan

Halle’s personal practice began in 2010 at Erie's iconic Plasha Yoga, where she practiced for 12 years. She completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2024 at the Jivasara Yoga School in Cleveland, Ohio. Her home practice centers on meditation, mindfulness, devotion, mantra, and alignment-focused movement that promotes strength, balance, spaciousness, and steadiness of mind and body.
Halle loves how yoga provides endless revelations about who we are, how we connect with ourselves and others, the power we have within, and the peace we attain by letting go of attachments, assumptions, judgements, and rigid identities. She aims to share yoga’s philosophy of peace and freedom, as well as the buzzy body-bliss that is a hallmark of Hatha yoga, while inspiring in others the same curiosity that has led her down her yoga path.
She wants you to know that yoga is for everybody, and if you can breathe, you can “do” yoga.
Off the mat, Halle is a writer of grants and poetry, a cat lady beneath a hillock of fur, a cook, a gardener, an incorrigible tree hugger, and an awestruck moon- and star-gazer at her home in Girard, PA
